Iran, Azerbaijan should benefit from cultural bonds: Iranian official
Ahmadipour expressed hope that the two countries would get closer to each other culturally with the Azerbaijan Culture Week which is to be held in Iran.
She also affirmed that this occasion would be an advantage for the neighboring countries to benefit in long term from the shared cultural capacities.
The official also said it is expected that Iranian business people and handicrafts artists would present their works in Azerbaijan.
The more the cultural bonds between the two countries, the less political rivalry would arise between them, she added.
The Azerbaijani Minister of Culture and Tourism heading a delegation of artists and cultural figures of the Republic arrived in Tehran on Sunday July 2. He has met with some Iranian officials, including the Minister of Islamic Culture and Guidance Reza Salehi Amiri.
In his five-day visit to Iran, he will be attending the opening ceremony of Azerbaijan Culture Week in Tehran.
