Iran, Belarus parliaments underline developing ties
Moscow, The Iranian and Belarusian parliamentary friendship groups in Minsk on Friday stressed promoting relations.
Highlighting development of ties and its effects on economic, political and security relations, taking advantage of both sides' experiences in solving common problems, facilitating legal ties between countries, the agreement on prisoners swap, visa waiver and the situation of Iranian students in Belarus were among topics discussed by the two sides.
Head of the Iran-Belarus parliamentary group Ramezan Ali Sobhani Far said despite good relations between two sides, more measures should be taken in that regard.
He also pointed to the MoU, which is supposed to be signed by both sides, saying it will be a roadmap for both countries in the future.
Meanwhile, Belarusian Head of the Iran-Belarus parliamentary friendship group pointed to developing international cooperation between the two countries, saying negotiations were held by the two sides in 2017.
Iran-Belarus parliamentary friendship group is ready for maintaining more cooperation with Iran, the Belarus party said.
