Iran-Belarus trade, economic exchanges to be further developed/ Iran’s private sector ready to transfer experience in technical, engineering services
The President said, "Iran-Belarus relations need progress in all fields, including economic and trade, and the ambassadors of the two countries can play an important role in this direction."
Speaking on Sunday in a meeting with the new Belarusian Ambassador to Tehran while receiving his letter of credence Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi referred to his meeting with the President of Belarus last week on the sidelines of the Shanghai Summit in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, saying, "Providing the groundwork for the activity of private sectors and companies of the two countries can be effective in strengthening economic and trade cooperation between Iran and Belarus”.
Ayatollah Raisi further referred to the request of the Ambassador of Belarus to approve the country's university degrees in Iran and said, "Considering the presence of a number of Iranian students in Belarusian universities, it is necessary to take appropriate measures for this problem".
The new Belarusian ambassador to Tehran, Dmitry Koltsov, while presenting his credentials to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, called the relations between the two countries long-standing and friendly, noting, that we are approaching the 30th anniversary of the establishment of relations between the two countries, saying, "My main mission is to develop relations between the two countries and I will do my best to achieve this goal”.
Belarus has always been -and will always be- a friend of Iran, Koltsov said, adding, "We are ready to raise the level of trade and provide groundwork for the presence and investment of Iranian companies".
