Iran broken-ear bags bronze in Finland

Tehran, Aug 2, Iranian free-style wrestler Younes Emami clinched a bronze medal in World Championships 2017 which is underway in Finland.

During the third place play-off, Emami in the weight category of 60 kg defeated Albanian rival 10-0 and received a bronze medal.

After taking a rest in the first round, Emami stood against his Canada rival and overpowered him 10-0.

During the third round, Iran representative hit Uzbek wrestler 12-2 and advanced semi-final stage.

In semi-final match, he overshined Russia 6-5.

World Championships 2017 kicked off on August 1 in Tampere city, Finland. The competitions run until August 6.
