Iran can attract 1m health tourists: Minister
Tehran, Aug 9, Iranian Minister of Cooperatives, Labor, and Social Welfare Ali Rabiee said that Iran can host one million health tourists.
Addressing representatives of 32 countries in a meeting on medical tourism in Mashad on Tuesday, Rabiee said, 'Iran's most important feature in medical tourism is its low price compared to other countries.'
He also said that Iran's medical tourism has other attractions as well, such as the country's high security, experienced medical staff, spas, salt-water lakes, and mud therapy facilities.
In natural, climate, and historical attractions, Iran holds the tenth, fifth, and fourth ranks in the world respectively, he added.
