Iran, China to strengthen ties: Chinese media
Beijing, The Iranian and Chinese Presidents Hassan Rouhani and Xi Jinping agreed to expand the relations between the two countries in different fields, wrote Xinhua on Tuesday.
President Rouhani and President Xi had a constructive meeting on the sidelines of the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in the eastern Chinese city of Qingdao, wrote Xinhua.
'We have good ties with Iran in different fields including the relationship between the people of the two countries; China is ready for more support for enhancing strategic relations of the two countries, said the Chinese president.
Expanding strategic and political ties, enhancing mutual trust, increasing the visits, and supporting each other in regional and international issues were among the suggestions of President Xi to President Rouhani.
President Rouhani said that the relations between Iran and China are excellent and demanded expansion of ties, wrote Xinhua.
Rouhani added that the US is challenging the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, also known as Iran Deal, and it is on the global community to stand against the US will.
