Iran condemns terrorist attack in Afghanistan
Tehran, Iran strongly condemned the Wednesday terrorist attack in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, and expressed its sympathy with the victims of the incident.
Expressing his regret over the terrorist attack on a commercial company in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, which killed and wounded dozens of people, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi condemned this inhuman act and expressed his sympathy with the Afghan government and people, especially the family of the victims of the incident.
Qasemi added, 'Terrorist attacks against innocent people are the most inhuman ways through which terrorist groups are pursuing their political goals and illegal privileges.
Qasemi highlighted, 'We are confident that the Afghan people will continue to strengthen their path to stability and security through the legitimate government of the country and will enjoy the support of the Iranian government and nation.'
According to IRNA, a Taliban suicide bomber struck a private company near the airport in Jalalabad city center on Wednesday morning, killing five attackers and 16 employees.
