Iran culture minister meets Iraqi religious authorities
Baghdad, Iran's Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Abbas Salehi, on his fourth day of visit to Iraq, met with three Iraqi Grand Ayatollahs in the city of Najaf on Thursday.
Salehi was received by Eshaq Fayadh, Saeed Hakim and Bashir Najafi, and he discussed with them religious and cultural relations between Iran and Iraq as well as regional issues.
The Iraqi religious authorities offered guidelines, regarding promotion of unity and solidarity among different sections of the Islamic and Shia society.
Salehi briefed the Iraqi Grand Ayatollahs on different achievements made by Iran over the past four decades since victory of Islamic Revolution in 1979.
