Iran envoy hails progress in defense, aerospace industries
Moscow, July 20, IRNA - Iran's Ambassador to Moscow Mehdi Sanaei on Thursday praised the country's significant developments and advancements in defense and aerospace fields.
Iran has achieved great success in its aerospace program as the country attaches great importance to developing the sector, Sanaei said while touring Iran's pavilions at the Moscow MAKS Air Show 2017.
Iran has always attached significant attention to its defense as well as safeguarding its borders and it has reached remarkable success in developing aerospace resources, he said.
Iran has had a very good cooperation with Russia in the sector and believes that attending such exhibitions help boost and bolster military cooperation between Tehran and Moscow, he said.
Some 769 companies from 40 countries have showcased their latest technological achievements in the Moscow MAKS Air Show 2017.
About 30 entities from Iranian state-run organizations and the private sector along with some 12 companies have put on display the country's achievements in the aerospace industry at the international fair in the Russian capital.
