Iran ex-diplomat urges world to judge between Trump and Rouhani
Tehran, Iranian ex-diplomat and former nuclear negotiator referred to the speech delivered by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and also that of US president Donald Trump urging the world to choose between them.
'In his speech at the United Nations General Assembly, the US President Trump rejected ideology of globalization and embrace doctrine of patriotism, while Iranian President Rouhani insisted on multilateralism and collective cooperation. Now the world should choose Trump or Rouhani,' Mousavian wrote in his Twitter account on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi said on Wednesday that the US administration is getting more isolated day in day out due to its excessive demands and bullying approach toward other countries.
Today, the world and all independent countries are determined to display their resolve for respecting international agreements, international law and their responsibilities for preserving the JCPOA, he said.
Given its permanent policy, Iran has continued to fulfill its commitments under the JCPOA based on wise and logical policy to secure its interests, despite the fact that ill-wishers wanted to prevent Iran from complying with the deal, Qasemi added.
