Iran FM briefed on country’s defense capabilities
Tehran, Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and other senior officials at the ministry in a meeting with the country’s defense ministry’s officials were briefed on defense capabilities on Tuesday.
The meeting was also attended by Iran’s Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami and heads of related organizations.
Reports on country’s missile, armored, maritime, weaponary, aerial, electronic, aerospace, and research capabilities were also presented to Zarif and his companions during the meeting.
The presenters argued that despite all-out sanctions on Iran’s defense and military industries, the country’s Defense Ministry has gained valuable achievements.
The ministry has spared no effort to boost Iran’s capability to establish reliable defense conditions as well as deterrence, they said.
The meeting was followed by a tour in the permanent exhibition of the Defense Ministry’s achievements by directors of the foreign ministry, ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions to other countries.
