Iran FM due in Moscow on Saturday

Tehran, Iran's Foreign Minister is expected to leave Tehran for Moscow on Saturday to participate in a meeting on Syria.

Mohammad-Javad Zarif in the day-long visit to Russia will take part in a trilateral meeting with his Russian and Turkish counterparts, Foreign Ministry's Spokesman Bahram Qasemi said on Friday.

The meeting is aimed at discussing the latest developments in Syria, Qasemi said.

The previous negotiations between the top diplomats of the three countries, acting as guarantors of the Syrian ceasefire, were held in Kazakhstan's Astana on March 16.
