Iran forerunner of fighting racial discrimination
Tehran, Iran has been forerunner of fighting racial discrimination and it had significant cooperation in campaigning colonization of Africa, said former Ivorian foreign minister.
Amara Essy who is currently in Iran to attend the Islamic Unity Conference met Head of Iran's Strategic Council on Foreign Relations Kamal Kharrazi on Monday.
During the meeting, both sides discussed regional developments, undermining Africa in today's world and bilateral relations.
Iran was forerunner of fighting apartheid and played a crucial role in fighting colonization of African, he said.
Since Iran has a rich civilization, it withstood sanctions and pressures over the past decades, he said, noting that such a resistance was impossible for other developing country.
Essy also condemned certain African states' involvement in coalition against the Yemeni nation.
