Iran, France hold 5th round of political talks
Tehran, The fifth round of bilateral political talks between Iran and France was held here on Wednesday between Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for political affairs Abbas Araqchi and secretary general of French Ministry of Europe.
According to a report of Foreign Ministry Media Department, the two sides underlined the necessity to preserve Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and all sides' commitment to its full implementation as well as expansion and consolidation of bilateral relations between France and Iran.
The two sides exchange views and considered international and regional developments, the latest situation of conflicts and existing crises and underlined necessity to accelerate political settlement of crises, such as war in Yemen.
Fight against Takfiri-terrorist groups was another issue discussed in this round of talks.
Araqchi protested continued presence of MKO and their activities in France territory and called for putting an end to the terrorist groups' actions in France.
The French diplomat underlined that France is supervising and controlling all activities of groups, which have terrorist activities' background.
This round of talks is taking place within the framework of constant political consultations between Iran and France.
