Iran, Germany universities to hold int’l conference
Tehran, The International Conference on Globalization and Cultural Alternatives; IranGermany CulturalCivilizational Dialogues will be held by Iran's Allameh Tabataba'i University and Humboldt University of Berlin on June 15.
The event is to be held in Persian and English languages.
Ahmad Ali Heidari, Secretary of the conference said the event is slated to be held thanks to the MoU signed by the Iranian and German universities.
He added that international crises have led to the study of the globalization conditions and the study of alternative and future patterns of competitions to become a major issue in most human sciences.
Close cooperation with major universities of the world, attempt to define major plans for contemporary world conditions, getting familiar with the views and differences of opinion on global issues, with more attention to Europe and the Middle East, the Islamic world and globalization, are among the main aims of the event, he noted.
Allameh Tabataba'i University in Tehran is the largest specialized public university in humanities and social sciences in Iran, with 15,624 students and 422 fulltime faculty members.
