Iran head of Social Security Organization dies
Managing Director of the Iranian Social Security Organization Taqi Nourbakhsh died on Thursday after a deadly accident.
Nourbaksh and a director in the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Affairs Abdolrahman Tajeddin succumbed to severe injuries received in a deadly car accident in Gorgan city suburbs in Golestan Province northeast of Iran on Thursday.
The car that Nourbakhsh and others were aboard collided with a heavy trailer and was badly damaged. The passengers received severe injuries as a result and underwent surgery fter being transferred to a hospital.
In an interview with the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), Director General of the Golestan Province branch of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare confirmed the report.
Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Affairs Mohammad Shariatmadari along with a group of his ministry officials were also paying working visit to Gorgan on Thursday.
