Iran, India explore ways of boosting bilateral ties
New Delhi, Iran's newlyappointed ambassador to India discussed ways of further expanding bilateral relations with the country's Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale.
During the meeting on Friday, Ali Chegeni and Indian official voiced readiness for promoting relations.
According to the General Diplomacy Office of Iran's Embassy to India, they also underlined allout cooperation in all fields.
Gokhale welcomed Iran's new ambassador in New Delhi and voiced readiness for further collaboration in boosting bilateral ties.
Both officials also underlined using cultural features, including joint use of Persian language in both countries, in line with promoting bilateral relations.
Chegeni explained Iran's views and innovations for enhancing ties with India, which were welcomed by the Indian foreign secretary.
