Iran, Indonesia highlight developing bilateral ties

Kuala Lumpur, Sep 6, Iranian parliamentary delegation in a meeting with speaker of Indonesian People's Representative Council Setya Novanto stressed promoting bilateral ties.

Head of Iranian delegation Jamali Nobandegani expressed happiness over friendly relations between Iran and Indonesia.

Nobandegani also called for developing parliamentary relations between the two countries.

He also pointed to Iran and Indonesia common stance as regard Palestine and Rohingya Muslim minority in Myanmar.

Nobandegani expressed the hope for Islamic countries' cooperation to solve Islamic world's problems.

Meanwhile, Novanto emphasized bilateral relations, especially parliamentary ones.

Iranian delegation is in Bali, Indonesia to attend World Parliamentary Forum on Sustainable Development.
