Iran invited to CAte d’Ivoire int’l exhibition
Tehran, Adama Coulibaly, director of the Cotton and Cashewnut Council of CAte d'Ivoire (CCA) in a meeting with Iranian envoy to CAte d'Ivoire Mansour Shakib invited Iran to attend International Exhibition of Cashew Processing Equipment and Technologies.
During the meeting both sides reviewed ways to develop bilateral cooperation.
Coulibaly presented a report on the history of establishing Cotton and Cashewnut council in CAte d'Ivoire, saying it is aimed at organizing issues related to the two products.
Cotton and cashewnut are being produced in central and northern parts of CAte d'Ivoire and are exported in raw form.
He underlined CAte d'Ivoire government determination for processing agricultural products and invited Iranian economic activists to participate in this field.
Coulibaly expressed Abidjan's willingness to take part in the Iranian agricultural exhibitions and in return called on Iranian private and public sectors to participate in similar events in the capital city of CAte d'Ivoire.
One of the closest events will be held in Abidjan on November 8-10, he said.
The Iranian ambassador, for his part, hailed maintaining Tehran=Abidjan agricultural cooperation and called for creating link between Cotton and Cashewnut council and Iran's public and private sectors.
