Iran, Iraq discuss bilateral issues

Baghdad, Aug 28, Iran's envoy and Iraq's Vice President held talks on Iraq's latest developments and bilateral issues on Monday.

Iran's ambassador to Baghdad Iraj Masjedi and Iraq's Vice President Nouri al-Maliki discussed the issue of enhancing bilateral ties between the two countries and the general conditions of Iraq.

Meanwhile, Masjedi in a separate meeting with a parliamentary delegation from Change Movement in Iraq's Parliament, headed by Sarwa Abdul Wahid, explored ways to enhance the two countries' ties and discussed the issue of referendum on the future of the Iraq's Kurdistan Region.

A delegation composed of some Kurdish political movements' members that has come to the country's capital city, met with Iran's ambassador amid meetings with Iraqi officials.
