Iran judiciary chief urges probe into tragic plane crash

Tehran, Judiciary chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani on Sunday called on the country's prosecutor general to set up a committee to investigate the tragic plane crash in southern Iran.

In case anybody is found guilty of the incident, they have to be brought into justice, Ayatollah Amoli Larijani said.

Condoling with the families of the victims, the Ayatollah said that he was deeply saddened with the incident.

The Aseman Airlines plane was en route from Tehran to Yasouj when it went down in a mountainous area near Semirom, Isfahan province.

All the 60 passengers and the six crew members aboard the ATR-72 were killed.
