Iran junior Greco-Roman team crowned champion of Asia

Tehran, Iran's national junior Greco-Roman wrestling team ranked first in Asia by grabbing six gold, three silver and one bronze medals.

In the Asian Junior Greco Roman Championships held in New Delhi from July 17-18, Iran's Pouria Nasser-pour, Bahram Maroufkhani, Amin Kaviani Nejad, Hossein Forouzandeh, Mohammad Hadi Saravi and Amin Mirza Zadeh won gold medals in the 55, 63, 72, 82, 87 and 130 kg weight classed respectively.

Alireza Nejati, Shayan Afifi and Vahid Dadkhah snatched silver medals in 60, 77 and 97 kg weight categories respectively while Iranian 67-kilogram Greco Roman wrestler won the bronze medal.

The teams from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan took the second and third places respectively.
