Iran makes decisions based on national interests: MP
Tehran, Chairman of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission said on Monday that US President Donald Trump imposed a global economic war on the world and Iran will naturally take decisions based on its national interests.
On the sidelines of a meeting with the Iraqi security advisor Faleh Fayyaz late Monday, he added that what is happening is that Iran is getting closer to Russia and China economically and politically as it was during pre-sanctions era.
Boroujerid also said that if the European companies fail to resist US pressures, Chinese and Russian companies will be major winners, he said.
As to Iran's talks with European states, he said, We are interested in receiving their response in practice.
Their talks are positive during negotiations with Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif but We do accept neither words nor signed sheet any longer; rather only practice is significant for us.
Slamming Bin Salman's regional policies, Boroujerid said, I think he left behind a bad record not only about Iran but also about the Islamic and Arab state of Yemen.
He is thinking about fancies rather than realities, Iranian official said.
Bin Salman thought that he would be able to solve problem within three months, but after three years of massacre, Saudi Arabia has sustained defeat, he said, noting that if Riyadh does not amend its policies, it will suffer more.
