Iran: No prospect for talks unless US respects Iran’s nation
Tehran, Unless the US uses a respectful language when talking to the great, ancient, and civilized people of Iran, there will be no imaginable prospect for dialogue in any field with Washington, Iran foreign ministry said on Friday.
Responding to recent remarks by the US President Donald Trump on imposing new unprecedented sanctions n Iran while expressing hope to forge a new deal with Tehran, the spokesman of Iran's foreign ministry Bahram Qasemi said, 'I assume Mr. Trump needs to ask the elites and knowledgeable people in the US to give him a comprehensive report on the record of Iran historical developments.'
'The Iranian people will not change their sensible style in face of bullying and threatening,' he said.
He referred to the nuclear deal as an example of the US disloyalty, lack of commitment, and blatant violation of international law.
'Today, there are not many countries in the world that have a bright and optimistic viewpoint on cooperation and agreement with the US government,' Qasemi said.
'Iranian government and people remind the US once more that during the past four decades, they have not been worried by the so called crippling sanctions imposed by various governments of the US and have never given in to bullying and dictatorship,' he said.
Washington as an 'economic terrorist' that is resorting to sanctions to threaten other independent states, nations and firms, is too weak to affect the resolution of the Iranian people, said the spokesman.
