Iran non-oil exports to Europe up 91% in weight

Tehran, Iran's average of non-oil exports to the Europe experienced an over 91% growth in weigh and over 11% in value during the first four months of the current Iranian calendar year (started on March 21, 2018).

Based on the latest statistics released by Iran's Customs Administration, over 37,401 tons of non-oil products worth $15.4 billion have been exported during the period (March 21-July 22, 2018).

The average cost of the products for each ton was $413 which had a 15.69% increase, said the report.

Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Sweden, France, England, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Germany were European importers of the Iranian goods.

Italy with 324,347 tons of imports worth $162,014,000 ranked first in terms of weight.

The figure showed a 59.21% growth in terms of weight and 52.73% in terms of value compared with the same period last year, it added.
