Iran non-oil exports to Indonesia up 42%

Kuala Lumpur, Iran non-oil exports to Indonesia experienced 42% growth during the first 6 months of the current Iranian calendar year (started on March 21), Iran commercial attache to Indonesia said.

Speaking to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Saturday, Anvar Kamari said the value of the non-oil exports to Indonesia reached $328m compared with the same period last year which was $230m.

The figure had 42% rise in value and 20% growth in weight, he said.

He referred to mineral fuels and oils worth $160m and steel worth $153m as the most important products exported to Indonesia.

Chemicals, plastics, carpet, weaving goods and foodstuffs were among other products exported to Indonesia, Kamari reiterated.
