Iran, Norway MPs confer on bilateral ties
London, Iranian parliamentary delegation met with Norwegian lawmakers on Tuesday and conferred issues of mutual interest.
During the meeting, Chairman of National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iranian Parliament Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh referred to the historical relations between the two states, and expressed the hope that the two states' relations will be further deepened.
The official described the US withdrawal from the nuclear deal, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), against the international rules and regulations.
He also thanked Norway for supporting the JCPOA and opposing the US' unilateral sanctions.
The Iranian MP criticized the EU's indifference towards the US violation of the nuclear deal.
In the meantime, Anika Hotfeld, head of the Norway foreign policy commission, for his part, called for promotion of relations with Iran.
The official criticized the US withdrawal from the nuclear deal and expressed the hope that the EU's special financial mechanism for Iran is established in the near future.
