Iran, Oman hold joint military commission meeting
Tehran, The 15th meeting of the Joint Military Commission of Iran and Oman started on Sunday at the venue of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Omani Sultanate in Muscat.
According to IRNA, this round of negotiations was held under the chairmanship of the deputy head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran Brigadier General Qadir Nezami and Brigadier Hamad bin Rashid al Balushi, Assistant SAF Chief of Staff for Operations and Planning of Omani General Staff.
The talks will continue until April 18, and the two sides will discuss the progress of agreements and engagements, as well as planning for the further development and deepening of the military and international military relations between the armed forces of the two countries.
The highranking military delegation of Iran is scheduled to meet with a number of highranking officials of the Omani Sultanate.
Also on the sidelines of the IranianOmani Military Commission, a meeting of the Implementation Joint Relief Drill will be held with the participation of the Navy, Air Force and Border Guards of the two countries.
