Iran, Oman sign MoU to broaden military ties

Tehran, Iranian and Omani officials signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Friday to expand their military cooperation.

The Iranian highranking delegation headed by Deputy Chief of Staff of Iran's Armed Forces BrigadierGeneral Ghadir Nezami had a trip to Muscat to attend IranOman annual military friendship committee.

During its stay in Oman, Iranian delegation held talks with Brigadier Hamad bin Rashid al Balushi, Assistant SAF Chief of Staff for Operations and Planning of Omani General Staff, Omni deputy foreign minister, commanders of air and ground forces and Chairman of Consultative Assembly of Oman Khalid Al Mawali on developing allout ties between armed forces.
