Iran partakes in Guangzhou documentary filmfest

Beijing, Guangzhou International Documentary Film Festival (GZDOC) kicked off on Wednesday in the China's southeastern city of Guangzhou with the participation of various countries, including Iran.

The work of Iranian director Mohammad Ehsani 'Smoke' will vie with 40 other documentaries in the festival.

'Smoke' portrays the air pollution of Iran's capital of Tehran and the effect of this pollution on the life of its people.

It has been displayed in CinemAmbiente environmental film festival in Turin, Italy, and Cinema Verite film festival held in Tehran.

Guangzhou film festival will wrap up on December 14.
