Iran participating in Doha Intl. Book Fair
Tehran, IRNA – The Iranian Book and Literature Home (IBLH) participates in the 31st Doha International Book Fair on behalf of the book publishing industry in Iran.
According to IBLH public relations department, the 31st Dohan International Book Fair opened on Thursday in the capital of Qatar in the presence of politicians from the Arab country and ambassadors as well cultural figures from other nations at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center in West Bay with the motto of “Science is Light.”
The Iranian Book and Literature Home is representing the Islamic Republic of Iran in the cultural event with the help of Iranian cultural consulate in Doha.
The IBLH presents some 250 books on religion, resistance literature and sacred defense, contemporary and classic literature, children’s literature, Iranology studies and art.
The IBLH pavilion also introduces book industry in Iran, Tehran Book Fair and book for Iran website to enthusiasts of Iranian-Islamic culture and civilization.
The pavilion showcases books published by the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, the Center for the Intellectual Development of Child and Adolescent as well as Publications such as Jamal, Sureh Mehr and al-Hoda.
The 31st Doha International Book Fair has been organized under the supervision of the Qatar Cultural and Heritage Events Center affiliated to the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
The book fair is one of the most significant and the largest international cultural events in Qatar. The major international event runs on January 13-22.
