Iran, Russia to bolster economic cooperation
Tehran, Russian Ambassador to Iran Levan Dzhagaryan on Monday called for expansion of economic cooperation between Iran and Russia.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of his meeting with Tehran's governor general, he said regretfully the volume of trade exchange between the two countries is not satisfactory and it should increase.
Two sides fully understand the root cause of problems and should help remove them, he said.
He also expressed the hope that mutual cooperation in the field of energy between Iran and Russia to be continued.
To help broaden economic cooperation, he also expressed the hope that tourism visa between the two countries should be lifted as soon as possible.
The Islamic Republic of Iran is the victim of terrorism despite false claims raised by some countries who try to distort the realities, he said.
He also lauded capabilities of Tehran province in terms of economic and commercial cooperation.
