Iran says not to bow to US pressures
Tehran, Iran's Judiciary chief said on Monday that the Iranian nation has resisted the US pressures in the past 40 years and they will continue to do so.
Iran is the land of a strong nation which has resisted the US pressures and threats in the past 40 years and the US President Donald Trump's dreams about Iran's submission will not come true, Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani said, addressing a local ceremony.
He referred to the US, the Zionist regime and their regional allies' attempts to disappoint people and called for national solidarity and unity in the country against their psychological war.
Larijani noted that development of relations with other countries except the US and the Zionist regime can neutralize Washington's threats and sanctions.
Iran and five permanent members of the UN Security Council (the US, France, Britain, China, and Russia) plus Germany signed the nuclear deal in 2015. Iran accepted to curb its nuclear program in exchange for economic sanctions relief.
The US president withdrew from the deal on May 8, calling it the worst deal ever. Washington has also re-imposed the economic sanctions that will take effect on August 6.
