Iran sitting volleyball team receives 2020 quota

Tehran, After defeating Ukraine, Iranian sitting volleyball team received the first quota for 2020 Summer Paralympics.

The 2018 Sitting Volleyball World Championships tournament started on July 15 in Netherlands.

After defeating Japan, the Netherlands, Egypt and Ukraine, the Iranian squad advanced to final match.

The 2020 Summer Paralympics are an upcoming major international multi-sport event for athletes with disabilities governed by the International Paralympic Committee.

Scheduled as the 16th Summer Paralympic Games, it is planned to be held in Tokyo, Japan from August 25, 2020-September 6, 2020. This will mark the second time that Tokyo has hosted the Paralympics, as they were first hosted there in 1964 alongside the 1964 Summer Olympics.
