Iran standard jumps 10 steps in world
Tehran, Head of Institute of Standards and Industrial Research of Iran said that Iran has jumped from 32nd to 22nd position among 163 ISO member-states.
Addressing a ceremony held on the World Standard Day, Nayereh Pirouzbakht said all industrial communities are in harmony with global standards, including the development of a sustainable service standard, food management standard, social responsibility standard, drinking water standards for water supply networks, energy management standards, anti-bribery and corruption management standards.
She also referred to establishing supreme council of Standard chaired by Iranian First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri which has provided two supporting packages for imports and exports.
