Iran stresses boosting ties with Ukraine
Moscow, Iran's new ambassador to Ukraine, Manuchehr Moradi called for further development of ties between Tehran and Kiev.
In a meeting with Chairman of Ukraine-Iran Parliamentary Friendship Group Leonid Kozachenko late Thursday, he also voiced Iran's readiness for promoting bilateral relations.
Moradi stressed the need for optimal use of existing opportunities for boosting collaboration.
Kozachenko, for his part, called for enhancing Tehran-Kiev ties in economic, political and parliamentary fields.
Both officials also explored avenues for promoting mutual cooperation.
Ukraine is a country in Eastern Europe. Excluding Crimea, Ukraine has a population of about 42.5 million, making it the 32nd most populous country in the world. Its capital and largest city is Kiev.
