Iran taekwondo girls rank 1st in World Championships Cadets and Juniors

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian national taekwondo girls team ranked first in 2022 Bulgaria 5th World Championships Cadets and Juniors, gaining 4 gold, a silver and a bronze medals.

In The 5th World Championships Cadets and Juniors that is being held in Sofia, Bulgaria, in 37kg weight Parnian Saki in the final lost to Sing Tung from Thailand 2-nil to gain a silver medal.

The good Iranian athlete had in order to reach the final match beaten Elena Crimova from Bulgaria, Gulsan from Australia and Eivazian from Armenia in three consecutive matches.

The Iranian team's four precious gold medals, too, were won by Saina Alipour, Baran Jamal-Livani, Parnian Nuri, and Hana Zarrin-Kamar, while Parnian Saki won a silver and Fatemeh Bagherzadeh won a bronze medal.

The matches for the lower ranks will be held hours later tonight.
