Iran taking part in Russia’s int’l tank biathlon contests
Moscow, The international biathlon competitions started in the Russian capital on Saturday with Iran participating in the event.
The competitions staged as the International Army Games-2018 Contest, kicked off in the presence of Sergey Shoygu Russia's Minister of Defense in Alabina Field in western Moscow.
On the first day of competitions, the Chinese and Azeris tank crews became first in their groups.
On Sunday, Iran, Russia, and Serbia are expected to compete.
The International Army Games-2018 Contest, an annual military competition, have been held since 2015 on the initiative of the Russian defense ministry.
The competition is comprised of 28 sections and is hosted by seven countries, including Iran, Russia, Kazakhstan, China, Azerbaijan, Belarus, and Armenia.
