Iran to introduce itself as destination of Halal tourism
Tehran, Deputy Director of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization Vali Timury said on Monday that Iran has not been introduced to the world as a proper destination for Halal tourism and a proper plan to attain the goal is required.
NonIslamic countries began to create Halal services to attract tourism but we neglected this reality as an Islamic country, he said.
He stated that, based on our customs and religion, all services are provided in Halal, adding, "We are determined to present a plan to attract tourism with Halal services."
He also went to to say that to attain the goal we require the cooperation of the Standard Organization of Iran, the foreign ministry or other related bodies.
