Iran to make new nuclear medicine center
Tehran, The agreement to finance and establish a nuclear medical and cancer center was signed by the Iranian Minister of Health and Medical Education Hassan Hashemi and the Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali-Akbar Salehi on Sunday
The center is to be built in northern Tehran.
In the ceremony, the head of Iran University of Medical Sciences Masoud Naseripour said that the project has two parts: therapeutic and research.
The therapeutic part will have the most advanced remedies of cancer, latest achievements in nuclear medicine, cell therapy, gene therapy, and radiotherapy.
