Iran to spare no effort to help Iraq: Minister
Tehran, Aug 13, IRNA - Iran and Iraq enjoy deep and strategic relations and Islamic republic will spare no effort to help Baghdad in fighting terrorism and reconstructing the country in the post-Daesh (ISIS) era, interior minister said.
Congratulating the Iraqi nation and government's recent achievements in fight against terrorism, Abdol-Reza Rahmani Fazli in a meeting with his Iraqi Interior Minister Qasim al-Araji called for promotion of two states' relations in all security, economic and tourism fields.
He pointed to the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the two countries and said: 'According to the cooperation document, the two countries will work together on organized crimes, drug trafficking, fighting terrorism and border security.'
The minister also called for more consultation between border provinces of two countries for resolution of the issue of particle pollution.
