Iran to target exports to 15 neighboring states
Tehran, Iran's Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade, Reza Rahmani said on Saturday that his ministry is to increase the export of nonoil commodities to 15 neighboring countries this year.
Given the country's sensitive status and needs of the country for exports of nonoil goods, the minister underlined the need to walk in line with the ministry's goals to utilize the capabilities and capacities of the Chamber of Commerce at the earliest opportunity.
Central Bank of Iran (CBI) has put export of nonoil goods and country's production boom on its agenda, he said.
"Given the new conditions regarding the implementation of different tariff mechanisms, we are expected to witness a big jump in Iran's exports to these 15 countries", he said.
Certain officials have been appointed to monitor sound implementation of the task, Rahmani said.
