Iran, Turkey speakers discuss issues of mutual interest

Ankara, Iranian parliament speaker met with his Turkish counterpart on Monday and discussed issues of mutual interest.

Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani met with Turkish Parliament Speaker Mustafa Sentop on the sidelines of 140th Ordinary General Assembly of the InterParliamentary Union (IPU) and its related meetings, held in Doha, Qatar.

During the meeting, Larijani and Sentop conferred bilateral ties and regional issues.

Iran and Turkey have very close political, trade and economic relations. Both countries are part of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO). Bilateral trades between the two nations are increasing.
