Iran, UK stress on JCPOA implementation, stopping Yemen war
Tehran, Aug 4, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and the British Minister for the Middle East and North Africa Alistair Burt emphasized implementation of Iran nuclear deal and putting an end to war in Yemen.
Holding talks on regional issues like the regrettable conditions of Yemeni people were among topics discussed during the meeting.
Burt also stressed on UK's interests in developing cooperation with Islamic Republic of Iran.
Burt arrived in Tehran today to participate in President Hassan Rouhani's swearing-in ceremony which is slated to be held on August 5 in Majlis (Parliament).
Many heads of states and top officials from different countries have so far arrived in Tehran to participate in the event.
Rouhani was re-elected for a second term in office on May 19, for another four years, sweeping over 23 million or 57 percent of the votes.
