Iran volleyball team defeated by Serbia
Tehran, The national Iranian men's volleyball team lost a fierce competition to Serbia in 2018 FIVB World League despite its victory over former world champion Poland on Saturday morning.
The Iranian players were defeated by Serbia 3-2 in five sets of the match, played in Chicago, USA, on Sunday morning, with 21-25, 25-22, 27-25, 20-25 and 15-10.
The game was Iran's 11th match in the fourth week of the Federation Internationale de Vollleyball (FIVB) World League.
Iran's Milad Ebadipour with 21 points was announced the most valuable player during the match with Serbia.
Iranian volleyball players have so far won 3 games and lost 6 in the tournament and have gained 9 points.
