Iran vows to respond to US new sanctions
Tehran, July 25, Majlis (Parliament of Iran) Speaker Ali Larijani said on Tuesday that US confrontation with the nuclear deal will harm themselves and 'Iran have the power to react according to the Americans' behavior.'
Speaking in a local ceremony, Larijani said, 'US recent actions are nothing new; since the US Senate got involved in such matters, they have faced some challenges inside the country.'
He added Iran will react to the recent sanctions accordingly.
This shows that the Americans have had lack of commitment to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in the past, especially in the recent period. 'They think it will do them good, it will do them harm, though,' he said.
He added, 'We enjoy great nuclear potentials and can change the conditions very fast.'
'If the Americans think the level of inspections is not good enough for them, we can lower it,' Larijani said sarcastically.
He reiterated, 'We closely inspect their behavior, and will react accordingly; we will make the necessary decisions in the related committees and swiftly take them to Majlis chamber.'
