Iran warns US: Chinese media
Tehran, Aug 7, Beijing � Iranian President Hassan Rouhani warned the US severely that sanctioning Iran will make Washington regret and the US will not gain anything, wrote the Chinese media reflecting the President Rouhani's interview on Monday.
'Through unity and solidarity, the Iranians will weather away the return of sanctions,' Xinhua quoted President Rouhani. 'Trump will learn that these kinds of pressures did not surrender Iranians in the past and will never do so in the future.'
China Radio International (CRI) said that the people and the president of Iran don't trust the US especially after the US quit the Iran Deal, officially known as Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
CRI said that President Rouhani said that the US needs to be honest and show its will for solving the problem.
Global Times newspaper wrote that in the Iranian president's point of view Washington's demand for negotiations simultaneous with the sanctions doesn't make sense and Iran won't accept US double-dealings.
The newspaper wrote that Rouhani said Iran is ready to negotiate with the US id they remove all the sanctions; Iran is ready to have talks with the US if they compensate the harms they have made to Iran through intervention.
