Iran wins 20 medals in World Taekwondo Hanmadang

Tehran, Iran's team has gained 20 medals in the world Taekwondo Hanmadang in South Korea with three gold, four silver, and two bronze medals.

The 26th round of world Hanmadang competition 2018 began in city of Jeju on July 28 and will end on July 31.

The word hanmadang literally means festival. In 1992, the World Taekwondo Hanmadang opened its first contest that brought together Taekwondo practitioners from all over the world.

Iran is participating in the competition with 35 male and female Taekwondo players.

On Monday, Iranian players won three gold, three silver, and four bronze medals.
