Iran wushu fighters rank 1st at Macau World Champs

Tehran, Iranian wushu fighters with 4 gold medals stood first at World University Wushu Championships held in Macau.

The event was held with the attendance of 250 fighters from 26 countries.

Iranian athletes received 4 gold medals in Sanda category.

This is the first time that Iran ranked first in this field.

Sanshou (Wushu Sanshou), also known as Sanda (Wushu Sanda), Chinese boxing or Chinese kickboxing, is a Chinese self-defense system and combat sport.

The World University Wushu Championships is a single sport competition organized for university athletes and falls under the International University Sports Federation (FISU) World University Championships Sports Programme.
