Iranian, Algerian state news agencies sign MoU

Algiers, The heads of the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) and Algerian news Agency (WAJ) signed a memorandum of understanding on Wednesday.

Zia Hashemi and Abdulhameed Kasha, respectively IRNA and WAJ heads, signed the agreement in Algiers.

The agreement included exchange of news, photos, films, infographics, and also holding joint photos galleries.

The two news agencies also agreed on holding short-and medium-term training courses and workshops for each other party's journalists.

Hashemi also made a visit to different parts of the Algerian news agency and talked to the agency's authorities.

In the three-hour meeting with the managers of WAJ, Hashemi answered the Algerian's questions regarding IRNA and the media in Iran.
